Vitran Express is the combination of two great carriers. Quast Transfer was a Minnesota based carrier that was purchased by Vitran, Inc., in September of 1998. After almost a year of carefully planned integration, Quast was merged with Overland Transportation, another Midwest regional LTL carrier that Vitran had purchased in 1995.

Our longevity and continued success is a testament of our uncompromising quest for the best total value in LTL transportation. As one of the Central States fastest growing regional LTL carriers, we are excited about delivering Vitran Express' quality to our rapidly growing list of customers in an expanded service area.
